This was my first party to shoot and the low lighting was a challenge. The party was such a blast and the most successful surprise party I’ve been to…no doubt they were shocked. Steve and Lori’s daughter Mollie (check out their cute family here) planned the party to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary and both of their 50th birthdays. She did a great job and everyone had a blast!
- My love for photography started when I spent a semester in Swaziland, Africa. I so desperately wanted to capture the beauty of the people I met, the friends I made, and I wanted to use photography to speak on behalf of those whom lacked the means to speak for themselves. And so, in Africa, I fell in love with my point-and-shoot camera. Soon after, my love transferred to my 35mm film camera and now my DSLR. And I love photography- painting with light and sensors. I also love the art of espresso, baking, cooking, writing, and film making- probably in that order. I am wife to the love of my life, Blake, and mother to the cutest baby in the world. I am passionate about many things, but I am especially invested in taking care of orphans. My wonderful husband and I hope to adopt many children and encourage others to adopt as well. I owe all that I am to Christ. He is the reason I have hope- hope of a better place, a place with no orphans. But in the mean time, I will bring His dream to earth as much as possible. And this is precisely why my husband and I are in the process of adopting a child from Uganda. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the photos- I sure enjoy taking them.
