What a lovely city Eau Claire is. We are very blessed to be in a city with so many parks. Even after quite a few senior portrait sessions, Rebekah and I were able to go to a couple parks that I hadn’t shot at yet this year. This was a sunny morning shoot offering a perfect spotlight for Rebekah’s artistic style- which I loved. I really enjoyed spending the morning with her and her mom (and their adorable dog)… talk about a kind pair. And here’s the result…
- My love for photography started when I spent a semester in Swaziland, Africa. I so desperately wanted to capture the beauty of the people I met, the friends I made, and I wanted to use photography to speak on behalf of those whom lacked the means to speak for themselves. And so, in Africa, I fell in love with my point-and-shoot camera. Soon after, my love transferred to my 35mm film camera and now my DSLR. And I love photography- painting with light and sensors. I also love the art of espresso, baking, cooking, writing, and film making- probably in that order. I am wife to the love of my life, Blake, and mother to the cutest baby in the world. I am passionate about many things, but I am especially invested in taking care of orphans. My wonderful husband and I hope to adopt many children and encourage others to adopt as well. I owe all that I am to Christ. He is the reason I have hope- hope of a better place, a place with no orphans. But in the mean time, I will bring His dream to earth as much as possible. And this is precisely why my husband and I are in the process of adopting a child from Uganda. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the photos- I sure enjoy taking them.
